David G. Davies, Senior Counsel

Dave Davies is a retired partner who joined the firm in 1979.  During his tenure, he handled hundreds of maritime cases and other matters for a variety of clients.  His background as a U.S. Navy officer and his marine engineering degree were uniquely suited to the maritime field.  Dave is highly respected by his peers, having been listed in The Best Lawyers in America during his years actively practicing law.  His involvement with The Maritime Law Association of the United States included serving as a director, committee chair and committee member.  He is a former Trustee of what is now the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association.  While practicing law, Dave’s community activities also included board positions with St. John and West Shore Hospital, West Side Ecumenical Ministry, and the Sisters of Charity and St. Ann Foundations.
