·          Kerns v. LaFarge Corp., Wayne County Circuit Court, 1999 (with Mr. Davies): Represented shipowner

            in defense of harborworker claim on trial. Judgment against client, settled on appeal.

·          Cummings v. Inland Lakes Management, Court of Common Pleas, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, 1998:

            Represented shipowner in defense of Jones Act claims. Nominal judgment for plaintiff in the

            amount of $5,000.

·          Smith v. Interlake Steamship Co., N.D. Ohio, 1995 and 1996 (with Mr. Davies):

            Represented shipowner in defense of Jones Act claims on trial and re-trial.

·          Zumot v. Stinson, Inc., N.D. Ohio, 1995 (with Mr. Denny): Represented shipowner in defense of

            Jones Act claim. Case settled during trial.
